Focus:-. The feature of auto focus is very much important in photo shoots. The auto focus feature in new DSLR camera is very effective but in low light or at night it is not that much helpful in night photography. So if you are going for night shoot then it will be better you try your manual focus instead of auto focus. Switching mode between auto focus and manual can also harm your night shoot. So use the manual shoot with different values and use only that value which is effective for your night photography.

Tripod: - You always need a tripod to get good pictures at night time. It is quite impossible to carry camera for long time and capturing image after changing the settings. So at the when you are doing experiments with your camera then you must have a sturdy tripod with you which will provide you an ease to do photo shoot at night. With the help of tripod you can fix your camera and vision by which you can experiments your settings and analyze by which settings you are getting good output.

Shutter speed: - Shutter speed in a camera is very much effective during night photo shoot, it has been observed that high shutter speed during nigh photo shoot is far better and far impressive than slow shutter speed. If you take photos of stars in night with low shutter speed then you will get the stars are getting blurred in the photo but if you want that your star would seems sharp in the image then maximum shutter speed will work better for you.
